The Leica 90mm Tele-Elmarit-M was manufactured from 1964-1989 and came in a couple variations. This particular lens is the first version. The main difference was that they reduced the glass elements due to a new type of glass. This made the lens smaller and lighter. The mount was also a little slimmer with a simple knurled focusing ring in place of the scalloped one from the first version. This particular lens was manufactured in 1971 in Canada.
